The diver repeatedly pushes the fish back as they work before eventually feeding his persistent friend.

And for anyone who feels like they may have seen this diver or fish before, it’s because you likely have! The pair madeheadlinesin 2017 when diver Hiroyuki Arakawa shared that he first encountered the kobudai at the gate of Hasama Underwater Park’s Shinto shrine, where he serves as a caretaker.
