If you’ve been online this week, then you’ve likely seen a now-viral stand-up from family-friendly comedianKaren Morgan.
Recently, Karen did a show withDry Bar Comedywhere she joked about key differences between Gen Z, millennials, Gen X, and boomers.

In the video, Karen says, “Gen Z doesn’t know how to write a check; they don’t know how to address an envelope; they don’t know how to read cursive; they don’t know how to read a paper map.” She then goes on to say, “All I’m saying is, if Gen Z takes over the world, it’s going to be pretty easy to get it back.”
“I know it’s just jokes and comedy, but as a Gen Z, I can do all of those things. It’s a little touch and go on the paper map, but otherwise, it’s not hard.”
“Wait until she finds out most of us do, in fact, know how to do these things.”
And in the midst of war, Gen Z was able to find allies in those from older generations:
“I never understood these ‘jokes.’ We’re the ones that should’ve taught them, or are we mad we don’t need those things anymore?”
“My Gen Z kid showed his boomer grandma how to run her iPad when he was 5, just saying.”
