What have our presidents and Congress done ? Offer intellection and petition . Blame genial health . Rage on societal mass medium about how the gun deaths are everyone else ’s mistake and job but theirs .
In other dustup : ALL of our leaders have left ALL of us , ALL of our children to die .
Can you reckon if Russia or China bombed our schools , our malls , our movie dramatic art , rendering Russia or China the number one killer whale of American kids ? gratuitous to say , America would have pass over either / both country off the single-valued function the moment it chance .
But here we are , allowing Americans to massacre our child on American soil because we ’ve decided that the right to have a bun in the oven branch supersedes our shaver ’s lives and mental wellness .
Our leaders have failed us . ALL of them .

That’s whereHere4TheKidscomes in. We are a national movement with a state-by-state strategy to ban guns and buy them back. We are starting in Colorado with demonstrations beginning on June 5.
Why ?
Because Colorado is a state with a Democratic governor with inordinately high point of nipper die at the hands of gunman .
The Republicans openly brag about their adoration of guns and gunman culture . The Democrats feign interest in wanting to end gun for hire death and blame Republicans for everything .
A Democratic Governor , you ’d cerebrate , would require to quit the mass death of children living in their state . In Colorado , a state of matter notorious for mass shootings - Columbine , Aurora , King Soopers , Club Q , you ’d think Governor Jared Polis would do anything to stop the carnage of his component , to protect the babies in his own nation .
So 25,000 white women are showing up in Denver on June 5, at the Colorado State Capitol, to demand that Governor Polis sign an executive order to ban guns and buy them back.

Thankfully , our blackened civic rights leadership gave us the pattern for basal move . On March 7 , 1965 , 600 sinister civic rights leaders , peaceable demonstrators , and friend gathered tomarch from Selma to Montgomeryto need that Black Americans be granted rightfield and protections to vote . By nature of our hide in a racist and oppressive high society , we are always at risk and in danger , no matter what we do .
So it ’s clip for the white women to show up . It ’s prison term for white adult female to put their bodies , perquisite , and great power on the contrast to demand an end to our nipper being killed by guns .
Denver is our Selma. Denver is where Saira, myself, and other Black and brown, and Indigenous women are asking and leading white women to stand up for all of us to end the day and nightmare that is American gun violence culture.
I used to imagine that every single Black individual in America should go out and arm themselves because it seems like that may be the only incentive for the government to give a fuck and actually do something about guns . But we saw what the governing did to the de jure and heavy armed Black Panther Party .
And if I believed that every American being armed would stop dark kids , brown kids , snowy kid , ALL josh from getting killed by guns , I ’d start that movement .
But the trueness is , in a country where there have been more mass shootings than days in the year so far , and where there are so many aggregative shootings that the word Hz does n’t — ca n’t — even continue them all , we must recognise that the number do n’t lie down … it ’s the fucking gas pedal . And it ’s time to get rid of all of them .
We are all involve by , and traumatized , by American gun culture violence . And we have to be grieving many things , school shot after schooltime shooting , at the same meter . And that ’s in reality what it entail to be American right now .
The only mode we can begin to usher in an earned run average of healing for this nation is to stop the affair that is killing American kids more than anything else , and that intend getting rid of the guns .
