Hilary Dufflikened her eating habits toGwyneth Paltrow’s, and it’s not great.
For context, Gwyneth attractedsignificant backlashin March for describing her “wellness routine,” which largely involved fasting, bone broth for lunch, and a Paleo dinner. “It definitely screams disordered eating to me. It’s not enough food for anyone,” registered dieticianSammi Haber Brondotold BuzzFeed at the time.
Hilary recently appeared on theLipstick on the Rimpodcast, where she was asked about her own eating habits. “I wake up really hungry,” she began.

“I’m obsessed with those cauliflower rounds,” she continued, describing how she’d put the cauliflower rounds in an air fryer then add egg salad or an avocado. “It looks like a pita, but it’s small. Like a little Mexican taco shape, like that. But they’re just cauliflower. And maybe one other thing. They’re super clean.”
“Sometimes I try to — you know, Gwyneth’s in trouble for saying this — but sometimes, I try to just drink coffee in the morning and stave off my hunger," she added.
As for exercise, Hilary said elsewhere in the interview that she does “a lot of cardio, I love to hike, I’m playing tons of tennis right now.” She also discussed her fears of getting “too bulky,” adding, “I would love to have the skinniest little pencil arms.”
So, let’s go back to what dietitians had to say about Gwyneth’s eating habits. “In the morning, [she has] coffee, celery juice, lemon water — those aren’t meals, those are beverages,” dietician Sammi told BuzzFeed.
On the note of exercise, Sammi continued, “We need enough energy to exercise. She’s not giving herself enough calories or energy to exercise.”
“Even if she’s just saying, ‘This is how I eat,’ the bottom line is [that with] anyone who says how they eat on social media, you [will] have at least one person, if not many, many more, who will use that as an example of, ‘Oh, this is what I should do,'” Sammi added.
