The way Ke Huy Quan still call Harrison Ford " Indy " is the sweetest matter , but also Harrison spill about his wonderment for Ke is equally as wholesome .

One of the most anticipated movies of the summer isIndiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. The fifth (andlikely final) installment in theIndiana Jonesfranchise marksHarrison Ford’s return to playing the character for the first time in 15 years.

Directed by James Mangold,The Dial of Destinyfollows Indiana Jones (Harrison) as he embarks on a new quest to find the illusive Dial, a relic he first encountered in 1944. Now, 25 years later, he’s forced to come out of retirement when his goddaughter, Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge), shows up looking for the Dial.

To celebrate the new film, Harrison, Phoebe, Karen Allen, and more attendedThe Dial of Destinypremiere in Los Angeles last night.

And it looked like it was also a celebration of 42 years (!!!!) of theIndiana Jonesfranchise, asSteven SpielbergandGeorge Lucassurprised the crowd inside the theater by announcing John Williams was there to play the iconicIndiana Jonestheme.

Anyway, while there were plenty of reunions happening, one of the best came on the red carpet while Harrison was doingan interview with Extra.

Mid-interview, you can seeKe Huy Quan, who starred as Short Round inTemple of Doomand recently won an Academy Award for his remarkable work inEverything Everywhere All at Once, pop up in the background.

Literally, this adorable human is JUMPING with excitement.

Eventually, Ke gets Harrison’s attention and says, “Indy!” And the two of them hug.

Then, Harrison says, “You’re all grown up,” and I fully started sobbing.

Here’s another angle of the moment, which really captures it all beautifully.

Also, just because it’s so cute, here’s a side-by-side of Ke and Harrison then vs. now:

Continuing his interview and speaking about Ke, Harrison said, “I don’t need to be proud of this guy. He’s done all of this himself. It’s got nothing to do with me. I have…great love and admiration for this guy, but his pride is his own.”

Then, Ke added that his experience with Harrison on anIndiana Jonesmovie is what made him fall in love with acting. He said, “Of course, the reason why I love acting so much is because of him, because I had such a wonderful, wonderful experience onTemple of Doom.”

After Ke left, Harrison also added, “I’m so happy for him. I can’t tell you. He’s a wonderful person and an incredibly talented actor.”

This isn’t the first time Harrison and Ke have crossed paths recently. They notably saw each other for the first time in 38 yearsat D23 in 2022.

And then, Harrison had the honor ofpresentingEverything Everywhere All at Oncethe 2023 Oscar for Best Picture, which resulted in Ke and Harrison reuniting on stage.

Ke’s monumental awards season last year also led to him reuniting with Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw, given Steven was nominated forThe Fablemans, too.

Anyway, Ke remains one of the most adorable humans out there, and I absolutely love how proud Harrison is of him.
