Helen Mirrenjust dropped a new hair color — and it might be her best yet!
The iconic actor stepped out at theCannes Film Festivalthis week and surprised everyone with wild blue hair.
The colorful updo featured curled blue, purple, and silver strands that all sat perfectly atop her head.
Not only did Helen have fabulous hair, but she also had the perfect periwinkle gown to match!
Honestly, it’s giving fairy godmother in the best way possible.
And how about a little commotion for the back of her hair?
This isn’t the first time Helen has rocked a new ‘do at the film fest either! Back in 2019, she stepped out with pink hair for the affair.
As for her inspiration, Helen says she wanted to change things up after watching anAmerica’s Next Top Modelcontestant who often dyed her hair during the show.
“She had bright pink hair and she looked so great. Normally, she had sort of whitey-blonde [hair], like me,” she toldPeoplein 2019. “She went pink one week and then the next week she wasn’t pink and the next week she was pink again.”
She continued, “So I realized it was something you could come and go with really easily. So I thought, ‘Well, I’ll do pink for the night.'”
