As a locomotion devotee , I was ready to raise my baggage . I tested six of the top products from Shay Mitchell ’s gorgeous travel brand name . Some of them I dead loved , but others I would n’t in full recommend .
There are so many great luggage brands out there, but if you’re on the same sides of Instagram and TikTok that I am, then you’ve definitely seen Béis’s beautiful bags.
The luggage brand is owned by actor/influencerShay Mitchell, whom you may know fromPretty Little LiarsorDollface.
As a travel lover, I’ve been wanting new luggage for a while. The threadbare suitcase I thrifted in college finally bit the dust, so it was time for an upgrade. I wanted something that was going to last quite a lot longer. Last summer, I almost bought an Away bag with a built-in charger, but I’m glad I didn’t because built-in chargers aren’t allowed on a lot of planes. So, I decided to go with Béis for three main reasons: 1.) it’s so pretty and seemed to be good quality from what I saw online, 2.) the roller bags have a built-in weight indicator, and 3.) they’re more affordable than other brands I was looking it.
I made two separate orders, but I had a 15% code for each. The first was for signing up for the website, and the second was for making my first in-app purchase.
Here’s what I was looking for in new luggage:
— I needed a checked bag that has plenty of room because I ’m a serious over - packer . However , I still needed it to be a manageable size for me because I ’m middling poor , and it ’s hard for me to choke up around a big suitcase .
— I wanted something that ’s built to last . I saved up for this luggage in promise of not get to replace it for several 10 .
— I really wanted a built - in weighting indicator . I realized this after ending up on the aerodrome storey shovel books from my suitcase into my backpack last summer .

As a travel lover, I was ready to upgrade my luggage. I tested six of the top products from Shay Mitchell’s gorgeous travel brand. Some of them I absolutely loved, but others I wouldn’t fully recommend.
— I wanted everything to couple , just because .
Here’s a breakdown of everything I tried from Béis (and how much I paid):
FYI , I bribe everything with my own money , so this is a whole dependable , unbiased reexamination !
1.The 26" Check-in Roller in Beige— originally $278 (now $308), but $236.30 with the discount
Why I chose this one :
There ’s also a 21 " bag and a 29 " handbag , but I went with the average one because it seemed to be the best fit for my roomy / manageable requirement .
I go with ecru because it ’ll be promiscuous to fleck among the sea of sinister bag at baggage claim . Béis has some gorgeous , vivacious color options , but , frankly , I wanted something boring .

Since I didn’t have any trips planned for a few months, I did a packing test run for the two-week trip I’m planning to take later this summer. Here’s everything I wanted to fit vs. everything that actually fit:
professional :
— It ’s REALLY roommate .
— The cushioned handgrip makes it really easy and comfy to post . As someone who ’s pass altogether too much prison term running through airports , I definitely appreciate this lineament .

— The weightiness index ! ! ! !
— There are so many pockets and divider that it ’s super easy to stay organized .
Cons :

— It scuffs sooo easily . Since I did n’t have any trip coming up for a while , I let my mom adopt this suitcase for a fast misstep she had . After just that one trip , the out shell looked middling speculative . There ’s also damage to the rubber part . I spent two hours scrubbing it with dish soap and water then a sorcerous eraser leech before it was reasonably back to normal . There are still some marks , though .
— The TSA curl is kind of hard to estimate out . I struggled a destiny to reset the code , and I still have trouble getting it close up in general .
Final persuasion :

My mom told me it was " the best bag ever ! " However , we both agreed that the scuffs were a vainglorious downside . At this price point , I expected it to be a small more resilient or at least easier to clean . If I could go back , I ’d likely choose the shameful one rather . I ended up purchasing theluggage coverfor an additional $ 44 after this in hope of preventing further scuffs and damage in the future .
Overall , though , I really love the inside of the traveling bag , which is what sincerely counts . I was capable to go so much into without even using the expanding part or operate over the weight unit boundary . Also , I have intercourse having the weight index !
Rating:4/5

2.The Cosmetic Case in Beige— originally $68, but $57.80 with discount
I lose my other travelling makeup case while locomote , so I decided to replace it with a roomier one . When packing my physical composition , I wish to give myself ~options.~ I also wanted one that would be loose to houseclean .
Here’s everything I wanted to fit vs. everything that actually fit:
— It ’s so much bigger than it expect online !
— It come with a large mirror , which will be helpful when try on to get ready with other people .
— It also has a separate part for brushes .

— It has a lot of air hole , but they ’re all passably small . So , I ended up dump most of my makeup into the bountiful part .
— The pocket where a pallet would agree is moderately pie-eyed . you may only match one .
Overall , I think this is a good makeup traveling bag . I do wish there were more pockets , kind of like the brush air hole , for eyeliners and other little thing that roll around . Alternatively , obliterable divider , like the one I use in my make-up draftsman , would be a salutary accession .

Rating : 3.5/5
3.The Backpack in Beige— originally $78 (now $88), but $66.30 with discount
Instead of a roller carry - on bag , I wanted a rucksack . I prefer that because it ’s light to carry , specially when you already have a check tumbler pigeon bag . I also like having a haversack to use as a day bag on trips .
Here’s everything I wanted to fit vs everything that actually fit:
— There ’s SO MUCH room ! Two giant pockets + front pocket and side pockets .
— It ’s also well-off to wear .
— I did n’t discover this backpack rather in living .

Final Thoughts : This backpack really is THE knapsack . It has tons of room , appear cute , and prevent you extremely orchestrate . While unpacking it to put everything away , I discovered an additional large pocket that supply even more room . For trips where I only want a carry - on , I ’ll unquestionably be reaching for this rucksack .
Rating:5/5
4.The Dopp Kit in Beige— originally $48, but $40.80 with discount
TBH , I was swayed by the branding for this one . Did I need an almost $ 50 toiletry bag ? No . But did I want an almost $ 50 toilet articles base to complete the set ? Yes .
— It has a waterproof lining , which is great for me , who always scent up spilling something in her old bag . Once , I accidentally spilled an intact bottle of conditioner in my travelling bag , so this feature will emphatically number in handy .
— It has a separate toothbrush compartment ! Love that .

— Like I already say , it ’s an almost $ 50 toilet articles bag . The other bag already have waterproof section I could ’ve used .
— It did n’t fit everything I need it to , and that ’s with using travel - sized products in berth of my veritable shampoo and conditioner bottles . I also forgot a hairbrush , but it would n’t have fit anyway .
I also let my mom borrow this one as a toiletry pocketbook , and she told me that she loved it because it helped her stay organized . I like it , too , but I like it was wider to conform to steady - sized shampoo and conditioner bottle .

Rating:3/5
5.The Passport & Luggage Tag Set in Atlas Pink— originally $44, but $37.40 with discount
The recommendation bearer I ’ve been using for the preceding few twelvemonth is middling discredited , and my old luggage tag is , like , burn . I also wanted a combo passport bearer / billfold because one of my biggest travelling positron emission tomography peeve is having to hoodwink my regular wallet and my passport holder .
Here’s what the wallet looks like on the inside:
— I love how prepare the pass pocketbook it . No more juggling !
— The bag it came in two-baser as a toiletry bag .
— The pen is such a nice addition . That ’s one affair I always forget to pack but end up needing .

— The luggage tag is already damaged after one trip . At this price point , I wait it to hold up well than my old one from Marshall ’s , but it already has like terms .
— I really wanted this in beige , but it ’s been out of breed for month . I went ahead and enjoin the pinkish while I had my second 15 % off code because I did n’t require the other bags in my order to go out of stock .
— Getting my passport into its slot was challenge . Maybe it ’ll get easier over time , but I ’m just hope I can enter it out before the next metre I have to take out my passport to scan at the airdrome .

terminal Thoughts : Overall , I love the wallet , but I ’m not 100 % sold on the luggage rag . I wish well they were sell singly . However , they ’re cunning and functioning , so that ’s a win .
And finally:
6.The Weekender in Beige— originally $108, but $91.80 with discount
I consider this would make a capital " personal item " on the carpenter’s plane , thus completing my set . Additionally , it seemed like a good bag for weekend trip or other times when I do n’t require a cock-a-hoop checked bag .
— There ’s so much more room than I expected ! I was able to accommodate everything I require + everything I could n’t fit in the Dopp Kit . I still had a gross ton of room left over .
— The wired porta make it so much easier to get stuff in and out of the bag or discover what you ’re looking for .

— There ’s a freestanding laptop sleeve , which also figure out as a Scripture holder .
— It fit over the handles of the roller bag , wee-wee it well-fixed to bear .
— None , IMO !

Final Thoughts : For me , this is on the same stage as the backpack , if not higher ! It has so much room while still being compact . It ’s perfect for a weekend trip ( hence the name , lol ) or as a work bag .
Final Ranking:
1 . The Backpack
2 . The Weekender
3 . The 26 " Check - in Roller

4 . The Passport & Luggage Tag Set
5 . The Cosmetic Case
6 . The Dopp Kit
last idea : I could see the backpack and the weekender being dandy for just about anyone , whether you travel a sight or not . The check - in roller is also good , but you do need to purchase the top separately to protect it from getting so many scuff . The decorative case and dopp kit are more " skillful to have " than " trip crucial . "
Overall , I ’m fairly impressed with the Béis luggage I try on . They harbor way more stuff than I expected them to while still being easy to carry . I ’m excited to move around with them later this year and for many more years to hail !
