Well, this week, they showed up and performed “Radioactive” to support Netflix writers, who are currently onstrikefor higher pay and guidelines surrounding artificial intelligence in the TV and film industries.
But there was a slight issue. The performance was, um, pretty stripped down, unedited, and rather raw, so lead singer Dan Reynolds’s vocals and delivery came across as awkward and just not good.

One writer on TikTok made a video with more than 1 million views and joked, “Without warning, Netflix hiredImagine Dragonsto try to get the writer’s strike to disperse. But we won’t stop striking.”
