Jennifer Lawrence walked the crimson carpet at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival in a unflawed red getup that had everyone talking .

The 2023Cannes Film Festivalis currently underway. It’s the 76th year of the annual event, which showcases new films in all genres, including documentary, from around the world.

Every year, not only is Cannes one of the biggest international film festivals, butthe fashion at the event is always top tier— like, it’s wherePrincess Dianawore this iconic blue dress.

And this year, the outfits are already stunning, likeElle Fanning’s gorgeous silver afterparty dressthat everyone is obsessed with.

So that’s all to say that one of the most head-turning outfits from this past weekend wasJennifer Lawrence’s Christian Dior couture gown.

A real Old Hollywood–style gown, it was floor length, and she paired it with a simple Tiffany & Co. diamond necklace and a classic red lipstick to match the dress.

Like, the whole thing is gorgeous.

And what made it even better was — because the dress was floor length — you couldn’t see what shoes Jennifer was wearing until she walked down the stairs. She went with pairing the look with simple black flip-flops.

Honestly, I would also go with the sensible, comfortable option if you couldn’t even tell if I was wearing heels or not.

As soon as Jennifer hit the Cannes red carpet, everyone was obsessed with this look.

This red look was actually Jennifer’s second outfit on Sunday at Cannes. Earlier in the day, she wore a gray-silver dress that almost appears to be knitted and a tad translucent, drop earrings, and silver sandals.

I love the up hairdo she went with for this daytime look as well.

Jennifer arrived at Cannes this year in support of the documentaryBread and Roses, directed by Sahra Mani. The film follows Afghanistan women living under the Taliban. Jennifer is a producer on the film.

Anyway, I am obsessed with this red carpet look from Jennifer, and now I need her to star in an Old Hollywood–set film. Thank you very much.
