Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi faced criticism after their engagement last month due to Millie ’s young long time .

Jon Bon Jovidoesn’t seem to have a problem withMillie Bobby BrownandJake Bongiovi’s engagement.

WhenaskedonAndy CohenLive if he was “worried” that Millie and Jake are too young to get married —she’s 19, he’s 20 — Jon replied: “I don’t know if age matters. You know, if you find the right partner and you grow together."

Jon then said he thinks that would actually be his advice to Jake and Millie — to make sure they grow together.

“Growing together is wise,” he stated. “So, I think that all of my kids have found the people that they think they can grow together with, and we like them all.”

And when he talked about Millie specifically, Jon said, she’s “wonderful. Her whole family are great. Jake is very, very happy.”

Millie and Jake, as you probably saw, gotengagedlast month after nearly two years of dating.

Millie shared the news on Instagram, but fans werenot so thrilledby the announcement, with many sharing concern for her young age.

She and Jake have not publicly responded to the backlash, but at least, they seem to have the support of their family and friends, and that’s really all anyone can ever ask for.
