Elizabeth Olsen and Kaley Cuoco spotted each other on the reddish carpet , and Elizabeth adorably stopped an interview to jet over Kaley .
So, one of my favorite things about red carpets is theinteractions between celebs, especially when they get to reunite with their fellow actors and friends — it’s honestly always a delight for me.
I mean, some of the best celeb photo moments have happened on red carpets for upcoming movies and shows.
So, it’s no surprise that theLove & Deathpremiere in LA this past week gifted us with one of the most wholesome red carpet moments betweenElizabeth OlsenandKaley Cuoco.
In case you don’t know, Elizabeth stars in the new limited seriesLove & Death, which is based on the true story of Candy Montgomery (Olsen), a churchgoing Texas housewife who was accused of brutally murdering her friend Betty Gore (Lily Rabe) in 1980.
Alongside Lizzie,Tom Pelphreystars as Don Crowder, one of Candy and Betty’s friends who attends the same church as them. Later, Don becomes Candy’s lawyer and represents her during her murder trial.
And in real life, Tom is dating Kaley. The duo justwelcomed their first child, a baby girl named Matilda, on March 30.
So, theLove & Deathpremiere marked the first red carpet event Kaley and Tom have attended since welcoming their daughter, and it was adorable.
This also meant that it was the first time Kaley and Elizabeth have seen each other since Kaley become a first-time mom, and when Elizabeth spotted her on the red carpet, it led to a truly wholesome moment.
While beinginterviewed byE! NewsforThe Rundown, Elizabeth saw Kaley on the red carpet and paused to say hi.
She adorably gushed over how gorgeous Kaley looked…
…and then got all excited (and a little teary) after calling Kaley “Mom.”
If you remember, Lizzie and Kaley got to hang out during an episode ofVariety’sActors on Actorsin 2021, where they both equally praised each other’s work inThe Flight AttendantandWandaVision, respectively.
Also, in the same interview segment with E! News at theLove & Deathpremiere, Tom gushed over Kaley and his daughter, saying, “She’s been so amazing. She’s an incredible mom.”
Speaking about getting to have adate nightwith Kaley and feeling so lucky to have her support, Tom added, “We’ve already asked for like 20 pictures of the baby on the hour ride here, and I’m sure we’ll be leaving early, but it’s special.”
