Lil Nas Xattended the2023 Met Galalast night, and ended up breaking one of its most notorious rules.
I am, of course, talking about the reported ‘no selfies’ rule, which wasimposedin 2015 byAnna Wintour. It alsolikely appliesto social media overall.
Of course, it is an oft-broken rule — Kylie Jenner’s 2017 bathroom selfie certainly comes to mind. Hell, I’m sure thatLil Nas Xwasn’t the only one last night to post a selfie, but it is worth discussing because he isfabulous(and also posted a LOT).
