A sourcetoldPeople magazine they’d had a friendship “for some time” that turned romantic during the fallout over Jonathan’s arrest on assaultcharges. “Meagan has shown considerable support towards him,” the insider said.

“Upset me? No,” he replied. “She’s happy. That’s a blessing.”
Host DJ Envy then praised DeVon’s response and said how most people in his position would probably be bitter. “But here’s the thing: If that was the case, if I had that perspective, whatever I’m putting out, that’s what’s coming back,” DeVon replied. “So I don’t have any ill will [toward] anyone in that regard ‘cause I don’t have any ill will toward myself in that regard.”
He added, “So no, there’s no hate … There are feelings, and … I’ll leave it at that.”
Meagan and DeVon were married for nine years beforesplittingin 2021. In a statement shared with People at the time, they said there was “no one at fault” — this was just “the next best chapter in the evolution of [their] love.”
