Miley has n’t headline a tour in almost a decennium — since her 2014 Bangerz Tour .
If you missedMiley Cyrus’s 2014 Bangerz Tour, that might have been the last chance to see her perform live at an arena.
In a newinterviewwith British Vogue, the “FU” singer, 30, expressed she no longer has a “desire” to do large-scale tours.
“After the last [headline tour] I did, I kind of looked at it as more of a question,” Mileyshared, referring toBangerz. “And I can’t.”
“Not only can’t,” she continued, “because can’t is your capability, but my desire. Do I want to live my life for anyone else’s pleasure or fulfillment other than my own?”
Miley said that if she’s gonna perform, she would prefer it to be in an intimate setting instead of an arena. “Like, singing for hundreds of thousands of people isn’t really the thing that I love. There’s no connection. There’s no safety.”
“It’s also not natural," she added. “It’s so isolating because if you’re in front of 100,000 people, then you are alone.”
This means a tour for her latest albumEndless Summer Vacationis unlikely, but fans should at least be able to catch her performing at different shows and venues.
Whatever she needs to do for herself and her personal fulfillment. <3
