" I just want to mind my black - have business . I do n’t want to be in up in everybody else kitchen . "
It’s the end of an era forRed Table Talk, andNick Cannon’s happy about it.#
On a segment of his new live radio showThe Daily Cannon, Nick’s co-hosts Courtney Bee Bledsoe and Abby De La Rosa mentioned the show’s ending — and Nick was quick to share how he really feels about the cancellation.#
“Good,” Nick said after hearing the news.#
“If there was noRed Table Talk, then [Will Smith] wouldn’t haveslappedthe shit out ofChris Rock.”#
When Abby asked if he was only referring to the 2022 Oscars incident, Nick replied, “I’m talking about that toxic table.”#
Then Abby tried to correct him and say, “It’s an honest table,” which Nick rebutted with, “Too much honesty can get you ass slapped in the face. We’ve seen this. That table is toxic.”#
“They made all them memes on my brother Will on that damn table. They didn’t need to do that.”#
When Courtney argued that it was Will’s choice to appear on the show, he shouted, “It’s at his house! [He] got to walk by this motherfucking table every day.”#
Nick added that Will and Jada “are royalty,” and he didn’t want to know all their intimate details. The others argued that topics onRed Table Talkmade it feel like the actors were human and relatable.#
“I just want to mind my black-owned business. I don’t want to be up in everybody else kitchen. Keep that shit to y’all selves,” he said. “Fuck that table.”#
What’s that saying about the pot and kettle? I can count a fewtimeswhen we definitely learned something about Nick’sbig familythat should’ve stayed “in his kitchen,” as he put it.#
