Over the weekend, singer-songwriterBebe Rexhanoticed she was trending onTikTok…but for the wrong reason.
On Sunday, Bebe noticed “bebe rexha weight” was being commonly searched on TikTok after seeing it under a video of her singing. Sheshareda screenshot of it to Twitter.
Seeing that search bar is so upsetting . I ’m not mad cause it ’s dependable . I did gain weight . But it just sucks . give thanks you to all the masses who love me no matter what .
“Seeing that search bar is so upsetting,” Bebe wrote. “I’m not mad ‘cause it’s true. I did gain weight.”
“But it just sucks. Thank you to all the people who love me no matter what.”
The “I’m Good (Blue)” singer followed up that tweet with this message:
I ’ve always struggle with my weight . A cunt like to use up .
And although fans immediately came to her defense…
@BebeRexha Bebe - You ’re beautiful just the room you are . Your sizing is not a agent in how great of a human you are . You inspire so many people , let in myself , to love themselves the means they are . Fck the hater . WE have it away YOU FOR YOU ! !
….
@BebeRexha I care you had been around when I was a teen and in my early 20 ’s . You are drop dead gorgeous . I mean I was fat back then , but I was n’t . I had gorgeous curves , like you . Appreciate them ! ! ! ! ! hump you , beautiful Bebe ! ! ! !
…Bebe admitted seeing that search bar was “discouraging.”
I ’m work on myself everyday . Just discouraged a bit right now . https://t.co/dLsBlRJyCX
But this isn’t the first time Bebe had to address her weight. She previouslycalled outfashion designers who refused to style her for the Grammys because they considered her “too big.”
She also posted aTikTokexclaiming it was “no one’s business” how much she weighs, while also encouraging fans to “normalize 165 pounds.”
Feeling like a sorry cunt today .
Bebe, who has always promoted body positivity and inclusivity, recently finished performing an amazing set during weekend one ofCoachella.

She also has a single coming out withSnoop Doggthis week and an album releasing at the end of the month! So, instead of finding ways to bring people down, let’s focus more on how we can celebrate each other.
