nipper say ( and do ) the darndest things !

If you work with kids, you know there’s seldom a dull moment! From their lack of filter to their endless curiosity to their heaps of energy, they’re a lot to keep up with. Working with them is bound to generate some stellar stories.

Perhaps you teach kindergarten and used to have a weekly show-and-tell with your students on Fridays. One week, a kid excitedly stood up and pulled a live squirrel out of their backpack, which promptly wiggled free and began running around the classroom. The student had somehow lured the squirrel into its bag with crackers, then zipped it in. That was the last time you ever did show-and-tell.

Maybe you used to nanny for a family with four kids under the age of eight. It was a super hectic household, and something was always going wrong. Once, while you were nannying, all of the kids seemed to come down with some sort of stomach flu or food poisoning right around the same time. Suddenly, you were stuck taking care of four panicked children who couldn’t control what was spewing out of them.

Or, perhaps you were working as a summer camp counselor one year. One mom seemed particularly hesitant to drop their child off, though the kid seemed excited to be there. You assured her it would be okay, and tried to politely send her on her way. Later that day, while the kids were outside playing kickball, you noticed a lot of rustling coming from a nearby bush. You went to see if ananimalwas stuck, only to find the helicopter mom crouching in the bush spying on her child. You had to get your supervisor involved.
