I mean , I ’m not gon na dwell , I ’d love if my line of work was beach .

We are in the midst of Ryan Gosling’sBarbiepress blitz, where he is fully embracing his inner himbo Ken.

The Kenergy is very high lately!

Last week in aninterview with Vogue, Ryan revealed why he took the role of Ken in the first place: “Ken wasn’t really on my bucket list. But in fairness, I don’t have a bucket list. So I thought I’d give it a shot,” he said.

And now he’s shedding more light on any Kentroversy about his age and rolewith GQ.

For those who don’t know, some peoplecriticizedRyan for being “too old” to play Ken.

“I would say, you know, if people don’t want to play with my Ken, there are many other Kens to play with," he said.

Later in the interview, he came back to the topic: “Barbie never fucked with Ken. That’s the point. If you ever really cared about Ken, you would know that nobody cared about Ken. So your hypocrisy is exposed. This is why his story must be told.”

“I care about this dude now. I’m like his representative," the doll activist said.

But my absolute favorite part of the interview was when Ryan explained what Ken’s job has been for the past 60 years.

“His job is beach. For 60 years, his job has been beach. What the fuck does that even mean?" he said.

Beach? That’s kind of legendary, if you ask me.

Anyway, I could hearRyan Goslingtalk about being Ken all day. It’s somewhat, well, hot to me.
