By now, you may have heardNick Cannonhas a lot of children.
And one of the women he has children with is model and real estate agent, Bre Tiesi. She welcomed Nick’s eighth child in 2022, whom they namedLegendary.
Bre is also on the current season ofSelling Sunset. And on the show, she opened up about her relationship with Legendary’s father and clarified some of the misconceptions, especially one about being labeled as a “gold digger.”
Previously, Bre shared she and Nick datedon and offfor years before welcoming their son, and hinted that they might not be in a traditionally monogamous relationship.
“It’s such a gray line ‘cause it’s, like, you already know he has other relations,” Bre told fellowSelling Sunsetrealtor Amanza Smith over drinks.
“It’s not necessarily anything,” Breexplainedon theKnow For Surepodcast. “This is just us, this is our relationship and what you do outside of that is what you do outside of that. Everything is respectful, everything is honest. We don’t really define it.”
And while Bre shared she is an independent type of person, she did reveal on the show that there was a little bit of disappointment in how she found out Nick fathered more children after Legend. She followed up by saying that, in the end, though, she’s the one that takes financial responsibility for their son. “There’s no legal agreement,” Bre explained. “We don’t have any of that. I take care of myself.”
“If my son needs something or we do, I ask, that’s all I have to do,” Bre said. “I know he’s a good dad and, like, Nick is not my sugar daddy.”
It was also said on the show that after 10 children, the court can find a parent not financially stable enough to provide child support. Or, since, for example, Nick is a public figure, Bre clarified, the court could dictate how much he would have to pay “for each household.” (Nick has said in the past, he makes about$100 milliona year.)
“I’ve worked my ass off to be where I’m at. I did this all by myself,” Bre said in her confessional. “And of course, my son is even more of a motivation. I want to give him everything from me.” She concluded, “Not from my partner.”
