Unfortunately, I’ve seen a lot of Shania slander online due to her less-than-great vocals on her Queen Of Me tour.
One user posted avideowith almost half a million views. In the video, they criticized Shania’s vocals and how she gestured to the audience to sing the rest of the song “You’re Still The One.” They wrote, “No. Just no. Wait for it. $200 for us to sing karaoke,” they wrote.

There are a few things we need to acknowledge. First:Shania Twainis a legend who’s been singing live for almost 30 years.
Second: at least she’s singing live!
Third, Shania’s voice has been affected by Lyme disease, which doctors said literally damaged the nerves in her vocal cords and ultimately prevented her from using her voice for seven years!!!!! Like, she could not project her voice because of it.
Because of these issues with her health and voice, she had to have open throat surgery. “After I had the surgery, I was petrified to make a sound. I didn’t know what was going to come out,” Shania toldInStyleearlier this year.
