Sydney talked about her dad and grandpa’s less-than-great reaction to watching her in the hit HBO show, which features explicit content and nudity.
“My mom knew [about the explicit nature of the show],” Sydney shared. “My mom visited me on set a few times, so she knew the story, and I talked to her a lot about it.”
“Yeah, I didn’t prepare my dad — at all,” Sydney added.
“I mean, how do you bring up a conversation? Also, when I talk to my dad it’s usually not about work. We talk father-daughter conversations.”
“So yeah, he decided he was gonna watch it without telling me — with his parents,” Sydney said.
“My dad and my grandpa turned it off and walked off. My grandma — she’s a big supporter of mine.”
Sydney said she makes it a point to make her grandma an extra in her projects, since she’s such a big fan of her work.
