THIS IS NOT A DRILL, SWIFTIES! We’re a little over a month away fromSpeak Now (Taylor’s Version)’s release, and we finally have the full track list, y’all!
The track list includes all your favorite songs from the originalSpeak Nowalbum (YES, including “Better than Revenge”!!!!), minus “If This Was a Movie,” which Taylor has already re-released and included in the re-recordedFearless (Taylor’s Version)era.
Taylor also announced six new tracks “from the vault,” which include a song called “Electric Touch” featuring Fall Out Boy AND a collab withHayley Williamsof Paramore called “Castles Crumbling.” I’m gonna be honest — my 2013 swemo (Swiftieemos, our time is now!!) dreams are coming true with this album. There truly is no better place for a Fall Out Boy or Hayley collab than on aTaylor Swiftalbum that already includes “The Story of Us” and “Haunted.” Chef’s kiss, no notes, I haven’t even heard it yet, and I know it’s perfection.
Taylor commented on the collaborations in her announcement, saying, “SinceSpeak Nowwas all about my songwriting, I decided to go to the artists who I feel influenced me most powerfully as a lyricist at that time and ask them to sing on the album.”
Fans have been on the edge of their seats hoping for a Hayley Williams collab after Hayley hinted at it during a meet and greet earlier this week. When a fan handed her a “Speak Now” friendship bracelet, she hinted, “Let me just tell you — this is coming at a very interesting time, that you’re giving me to wear. And that’s all I’ll say.”
