Riverdaleis somehow always at the scene of the offense .

Tiktoker,@subwaycowgirl, hilariously shared in thisvideothat now has over 500k views, that apparently the Canadian government isreallyon top of what information gets put onto Canadian Wiki pages.

The TikToker, Adri, explains that there’s a Twitter bot that “automatically tweets every single time that a Wikipedia page is edited by someone using a government of Canada IP address,”.

She goes on to show her favourite CA Gov Wikipedia edit to date, which comedically, was some government employee “correcting the French grammar of the season seven ofRiverdaleWikipedia article.”

The Twitter account mentioned is,@gccaedits— and because of this we now even have some of our own favourite government Wikipedia edits. Like when someone edited the Wikipedia article grammar for the gameDiablo IV.

Or when the Canadian House of Commons anonymously edited the US Senate’s Wikipedia page for an election that took place in Florida…

Or, who could forget when the CA gov had to make sure the grammar was correct on the Wikipedia article for the Mercedes-Benz Zetros?

Comments under Adri’s TikTok reacting to this random revelation varied from making good points to really just taking the piss out of the whole situation — with one user even writing, “those [are] my tax payer dollars hard at work”.

And one great commenter who gave context to the whole ordeal, stating how “seriously” language is taken in Canada.

Nonetheless, shout out to what we can only assume is theRiverdalestan intern going around and editing Wiki pages, and also to the creator of this Twitter bot. Everyone involved is truly doing glorious work.
