TheOrange Is the New Blackstar gleefully showed off her baby bump in a (fittingly) orange Christian Siriano suit — and her happiness was truly infectious because I seriously cannot stop grinning!
This will be Uzo’s first child with her husband, Robert Sweeting, and the parents-to-be enjoyed the night out together.
Uzo and Robert — a director and filmmaker — tied the knot in 2020 in a secret ceremony and publicly revealed the news after being married for almost a year.
After the show, where the Tony-nominated actor was also a presenter, Uzo shared an official statement on Instagram, along with an adorable video of her excitedly holding up a onesie.
“What a blessing,” she wrote. “My husband Robert and I are so happy to enter this next chapter together as parents. I am beyond excited. I get to be someone’s Mommy! I know as the three of us continue to grow, our only, ONLY goal will be to love you, little one. My goodness. Look what God has done.”
