As we get intoPride 2023, it’s worth bringing attention to some of the most-targeted people within the LGBTQ+ community: trans and nonbinaryyoung people(especiallythose of color).
A parent’s support can be huge in the life of any child, but can havehugemental health implications when it comes to trans and nonbinary youth. So, we want to hear from parents who have helped out their kids on their gender journey — and what advice for others they have going through the same thing.
Maybe there was a particular resource you found incredibly helpful, whether it wasonline guidesor becoming involved in a local LGBTQ organization.
Perhaps there was a way that you navigated the USA’sincreasingly difficultaccess to gender-affirming care that you wish you’d known when you were first looking for healthcare options.
