underhand kids , unite .

It may seem like kids and teenagers today have it made, but there’s one place where they’re definitely lacking in comparison to their pre-tech generations: privacy.

A lot of teens and young adults put it all out there by documenting their days on social media. For the ones who don’t, there are countless parenting apps that help moms and dads to keep an eye on what their children are up to (digitally and IRL).

From the older millennials who were the last to get away with keeping secrets to the generations before us that perfected the art, plenty of adults escaped their living-at-home years with stories to tell and parents who were none the wiser.

That’s why we want to know: Were you good at keeping your private life private? I want to hear all the wild stories that happened to you in your tweens and teens that you vowed to keep from your parents forever.

Maybe you were the master of sneaking in and out of your house without detection.

Or perhaps you had some educational shortcuts that were frowned upon by administrative types.

Or maybe you got a wholetattoowithout your parents noticing.
