One matter is for certain : We require more Brimsley and Reynolds .

WhenQueen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Storywas first announced as aBridgertonspin-off, there was some skepticism about whether or not it could match up to the magic of the flagship series.

AND BOY DID IT EXCEED EXPECTATIONS. Not only wasQueen Charlotteincredible — no offense toBridgerton, some fans liked it even more — it now feels like one season with these characters just isn’t enough.

So, what’s happening with the future ofQueen Charlotte? Here’s everything we know so far…

1.Let’s start by answering the question on everyone’s mind. Will there be aQueen CharlotteSeason 2? The shortest and truest answer is that we don’t know, andShonda Rhimeshasn’t made up her mind either.

2.Whether or not the show resumes, Queen Charlotte’s continued appearance in the Bridger-verse may require taking some liberties with one big historical event.

3.There is DEFINITELY more story to explore.

4.Hugh Sachs (older Brimsley)confirmed that Reynolds is indeed still aliveduring theBridgertonyears even though they aren’t together, and I think I speak for everyone when I say we’d be SEATED for the rest of their story.

5.The cast are keen to return.

6.There’s always the option of turning the show into an anthology.

7.Regardless of whether or notQueen Charlottecontinues, the events of the series give additional context for some of our favoriteBridgertoncharacters and the decisions they may make in the future.

8.The main characters will definitely continue to appear inBridgerton.

9.And as we saw inBridgertonSeason 3, the writers are willing and ready to give the dowagers storylines separate from the eight Bridgerton children.

10.And finally, one thing is for sure: We’ll be obsessively checking for updates.
